Game: Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland Plus
Developer: Gust
Publisher: NIS America
Release: TBA 2013

One of the Atelier series' greatest strengths is its light-hearted storylines. There's no apocalypse that must be faced or demons that must be vanquished. The games instead provide stories about pure emotion and the power of the human spirit.

The upcoming Vita game Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland Plus (where plus indicates that it is the Vita version of a PS3 title) is the latest game in the Atelier series which debuted on the original Playstation back in 1997. The games (there are around 15 of them) have mainly been made for the Japanese market, but lately they have been localized to the western markets as well. The gameplay is the standard JRPG with turn based combat, but the twist is the deep alchemy system. You collect items around the world and "syntezise" them in order to create new objects (tools, weapons etc).
